The Promised One

I was wrestling with some thoughts yesterday and I remembered about Ishmael and Isaac. Although Ismael arrived first and was strong, he wasn't the one. Isaac was the promised one, the favored son and heir that was chosen by God.

I'm not talking about Muslims vs Christians as I was thinking about something else...and I was reminded and comforted that when something is in the hands and purpose of God, no man can thwart its outcome and destiny.
