We Dined with the Ninjas

Are you tired of paying a fortune for sub-par Japanese buffets which often leave you full but hardly satisfied? Are you bored with Japanese restaurants which lack imagination in their servings and service?

Then, may I recommend you to dine with the Ninjas?!

Few weeks ago I took my wife to Ninja Jones at North Point, Mid Valley. My chef friend Darren Teoh, recommended me this place which he commented in his own words "This place brings out the boy in me!"

Fancy having your dinner served by these ninjas? But beware, you can hear them but you can hardly see them...they move so fast and sometimes camouflaged by the dark ambience

Expect to pay a little more than the average Japanese restaurants, but expect excellence in the quality. Too bad I took these shots with my old point and shoot camera. My DSLR wasn't available then. Couldn't capture the ambience in the low lighting environment without flash. Sigh.

My yummy set!

Never tasted smoked salmon so gooood! I loved the sauce

This soup-in-a-teapot tasted just heavenly!

Sip sip...ahhhhhhh....
Sherene was soooo happy, enjoying her food to the max

Her set

This serving of chicken looked really interesting...the taste was just perfect!

They even have a library collection of Japanese books/videos etc.

These are just for deco

Managed to "catch" one ninja for the shot

At the entrance door

You know what? I forgot to capture the Shuriken One dish (my best dish for the nite). Guess I was too engrossed consuming it....maybe next time.

Hey Ninja Jones, I'll bring my DSLR next time, write and promote you more...for a 50% discount maybe?

I just got back my DSLR baby yesterday....back from the dead! Will be bringing my baby (errmm...both wife and camera) to another chun place (also recommended by Darren) to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary next week. Watch out for my next entry.
