Wars and Dreams

Was listening to a worship compilation album of various artists while driving to work early just now. Many ways you can appreciate an album. The songs and their meanings are beautiful. But I can't help but wonder how much struggle and pains did they go through to put together something like this. Maybe their first compilation album was all nice and wonderful, but this is the second one.

Lately, I've been remembering my dreams when I awake...at least for a couple of hours. The forms, colours, sounds and rhythms. They're a good place for knowing the conditions of the soul. For listening to the desires and longings, inner turmoils and conflicts. Everything you face in the waking world will soon cover all that and they remain hidden until you pay attention the next time.

I remember this morning's dream, or dreams. I like those with singing ones. Not often, but I had one today. Like a musical, everyone suddenly burst out in a chorus. Can't remember what song but it was a worship one. And there was the Word...

I was comforted by a simple chorus I heard just now:

Kau kekuatanku
Kau penghiburku
Kau tepati semua janjiMu
Di setiap langkah aku kan berserah
Membri'kan hidupku bagi Mu

The chorus at the end of your post looks beautiful even though I cannot understand a word of it :) Dreams are definitely a part of our intuition, our soul speaking to us when all our barriers are down. The book Positive Energy tells us how to listen to that little voice and how to incorporate our intuition and spirituality into a more balanced and joyful existence. The author, Judith Orloff MD, also has mini-lectures on YouTube if you are interested. http://www.youtube.com/judithorloffmd
